Kyle joined Perpetual Private in July 2014 and leads the 18 person Investment Research team. In this role, he is responsible for the overall investment solutions of the firm, managing teams of highly experienced investment professionals across capital markets research, asset allocation, manager research, stock analysis and portfolio construction advice, as well as portfolio analytics and investment insights for client portfolios. Prior to this role, he was General Manager - Research & Operations for Perpetual Investments, where he managed key ratings house relationships and maximised rating outcomes across all funds and asset classes.
Kyle earned his Bachelor of Accounting with Distinction from the University of Technology, Sydney (1997). He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternatives Investment Analyst designations.

Lydia heads the Perpetual Private Multi Manager team, leading the investment research process with a view to generating consistent client outcomes in line with our investment philosophy. The team aims to drive growth through innovative investment solutions for clients. Lydia is also responsible for the manager research investment process, asset allocation methodology & investment strategies across all asset classes for Perpetual Private’s suite of multi manager funds, model portfolios and our approved product lists.
Lydia recently joined from AMP Capital, where as Head of Sector Multi-Manager she led the multi manager team of portfolio managers investing across all asset classes, private and public, in Australia and globally. Her previous roles included Senior Portfolio Manager (Fixed Income), Investment Specialist, and Co-Head of Quantitative Analysis & Risk Management (Fixed Income). Lydia holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration, with first class Honours in Economics, from Victoria University in New Zealand.

Provides investment research, portfolio construction and bespoke investment advice for Perpetual Private’s clients.
Andrew works closely with advisers by providing specialist investment knowledge on Perpetual’s investment process and strategy implementation, focusing on delivering optimal solutions to our stakeholders and partners. This is further augmented by his provision of transparent and accessible knowledge of financial markets and asset classes both globally and locally.
Having spent 15 years in London, Andrew returned to Melbourne with a wealth of international experience to benefit Perpetual’s clients and partners. Having started his career working on private equity transactions and stock market listings, he then spent time working on equity trading desks, before moving into investment management. In his role as a Portfolio Manager for Barclays Investment Solutions, Andrew managed money across multiple asset-classes on behalf of various client groups, before focusing on the charity and not-for-profit segment. With responsibility for as much as £3bn in assets, he developed a strong reputation for delivering robust investment performance linked to his comprehensive understanding of global investment markets.
Andrew is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Emily works with NFP and wholesale investors across Australia to deliver robust governance frameworks and sophisticated investment solutions. With a specialty in responsible investing, she also works closely with investors to help them understand the impact of their investments and how they can align their portfolios with their values without compromising on investment returns.
Emily is an experienced investment professional having worked in investment management, consulting and advisory roles in Australia and the UK. Prior to joining Perpetual, Emily was a Senior Consultant and Principal at Mercer in Sydney, providing investment advice to a range of institutional clients across Australia, specialising in superannuation and post-retirement. As part of her role at Mercer, she also led several research initiatives on wellness, financial needs and investment solutions.
Emily holds a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, the UK Investment Management Certificate, the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Hugo joined Perpetual in May 2016 as a Senior Research Analyst with a focus on hedge funds and credit opportunities.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Hugo was a Portfolio Manager—Alternatives in IOOF’s multi manager business. Hugo was responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of hedge funds, private equity, private debt and infrastructure. Prior to becoming a portfolio manager, Hugo was a Senior Research Analyst at IOOF with responsibilities in alternatives, asset allocation and international equities. Hugo was also a Research and Performance Analyst at AM Corporation which was subsequently acquired by IOOF.

David joined Perpetual Private’s Investment Research team in May 2015. David manages Perpetual Private’s growth alternatives portfolios, incorporating private equity, real estate, infrastructure and hedge funds. Concurrently, he leads the team’s effort in incorporating ESG, Responsible Investments and Impact investments across portfolios. Additionally, David is a non-executive director of the Utilities Trust of Australia (UTA) Trustee Board. David is a member of UTA’s ESG Committee.
David has over eleven years’ experience as an investment professional operating in a fiduciary environment. Prior to joining Perpetual, David held roles with ANZ and MLC where he was responsible for capital markets research, strategic asset allocation, investment manager selection and portfolio construction. Prior to MLC, David spent time with Liquid Capital Markets, a firm operating in global derivatives markets.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Economics and Politics & International Relations from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional. Additionally, David completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Company Directors Course in 2017 and attained his Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation in 2018

Eddie joined Perpetual Private’s Investment Research team in July 2022 where he is responsible for asset allocation, portfolio construction and investment manager research. Prior to joining Perpetual, Eddie was Associate Portfolio Manager at Australian Super and Portfolio Manager at Findex Group with experience across investment strategy, asset allocation and multi-manager research. At Findex Eddie was responsible for building and managing the tactical asset allocation process, portfolio construction and manager selection across asset classes using a total portfolio approach. Prior to that Eddie worked at Atchison Consultants working with a range institutional clients including superannuation funds, charities and endowments. Eddie holds a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from RMIT University in Melbourne, Victoria.

David joined Perpetual Private’s Investment Research team in August 2022 where he will be involved in asset allocation, portfolio construction, investment manager research and development of responsible investment solutions.
Prior to joining Perpetual, David was the Head of Research at Evergreen Consultants leading manager research and assisting retail advisers build diversified managed accounts. He was also a Senior Investment Analyst at Atrium Investment Management focussing on liquid alternatives research, portfolio implementation and managing diversified portfolios.
David is a CFA and CAIA Charter holder and has completed the Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.

Greg has been with Perpetual Private for over 7 years, having recently joined the Perpetual Private’s Investment Research team in July 2021 with a primary focus on Australian equities, as well as other bespoke investment opportunities for Perpetual Private’s Wholesale advice clients.
Prior to joining the Research team, Greg has been a Senior Financial Adviser at Perpetual Private, providing investment portfolio advice and bespoke portfolio reporting and analysis to sophisticated Not-for-Profit and High Net Worth clients, across a broad and diverse range of sectors and client profiles. Before joining Perpetual, Greg also has past experience as an Adviser in boutique financial planning firms – AFPG and Dixon Advisory – as well as technical advice experience as a paraplanner at BT Financial Group.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with the FPA Institute. Greg has also passed the Level 2 exam for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

Stephen is responsible for Perpetual Private’s direct equity investment and research capability, including stock selection and ongoing management of direct equity investment portfolios for clients (as managed accounts, or on an advisory basis). He provides detailed input on direct equities – company analysis & research, recommendations and portfolio structuring, and leads a team of five investment analysts across most key equity sectors.
Stephen has spent more than twenty years as an equity market specialist. Prior to joining Perpetual, he spent four years as a Senior Investment Analyst at Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) in the domestic equity funds management team. He was primarily responsible for covering sectors such as Financials, Healthcare, Food & Beverage and Building Materials. Stephen also spent considerable time as a Senior Research Analyst at Macquarie Group, where he specialised in Banks and Diversified Financials.
Stephen’s academic qualifications underpin his extensive experience. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Macquarie University), is an Associate of FINSIA and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute).

Daniel is the Portfolio Manager for Perpetual Private’s ‘Australian Equities Responsible Investment Portfolio’ and a senior investment analyst.
Daniel joined Perpetual in 2011 as a Research Analyst within Perpetual Private's Direct Equities team. He developed and subsequently launched the Responsible Investment Portfolio in 2015. He is also responsible for investment research of the Resources, Other Materials (building materials and chemicals), and Energy sectors.
Daniel joined Perpetual after 4 years with Constellation Capital Management, a boutique funds manager, where he had responsibility for researching the Consumer Staples, Agriculture, Utilities and Telecommunications sectors. Prior to Constellation, Daniel worked for Hoyts Corporation where he was Group Accounting Manager responsible for financial reporting.
Daniel is a CFA charter holder and holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) and a Master of Commerce (Finance and Accounting), both from the University of Sydney. He has also completed the CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing.

Damen joined Perpetual in 2018 as a Research Analyst within the Perpetual Private’s Direct Equities team. He is responsible for investment analysis and research of Gaming, Consumer Staples and several other Industrials sectors, as well as supporting the team in small companies and other industry research.
Damen joined Perpetual following four years at Clime Investment Management, a boutique, value-oriented wealth manager, specialising in high net worth clients. At Clime, Damen had responsibility for ex-ASX 50 (mid-sized company) stocks, as well as many of the team’s quantitative processes.
Damen holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Commercial Law) from the University of Sydney and is a CFA Charterholder.
Desmond joined Perpetual in 2022 as a Senior Research Analyst within Perpetual Private’s Direct Equities team. He is responsible for research coverage of the Media and Consumer Staples/Discretionary sectors as well as leading the team’s ex-100 small companies opportunities.
Prior to joining, Desmond was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Equity Research, during which he was part of the top 3 rated Financials team and had lead coverage of the Gaming and Media sectors. Before that he worked at ANZ for a number of years across Equities and Group Treasury.
Desmond is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) with Honours.

Amanda joined Perpetual in March 2022 and is responsible for Perpetual Private’s Managed Accounts and intermediary investment advice offer.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Amanda was Senior Manager of Investment Governance at Ironbark Asset Management. She was responsible for Ironbark’s Multi-Asset Investment Governance team, contributing to the delivery and ongoing oversight of investment solutions via managed accounts and multi-asset funds. Amanda has also held roles as an Investment Analyst at JBWere and MLC and as a Consultant at JANA.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney and is a CFA Charterholder.
Alan is responsible for partnering with independent financial advisers to support their investment offering through the design, development and management of industry leading tailored managed account portfolios. These are integrated with Perpetual’s extensive asset consulting, estate administration, charitable trust and NFP solutions supporting generations of families since 1886.
Alan has over 28 years senior leadership experience with some of Australia’s leading financial services companies (advice, asset management, superannuation, trustee and banking solutions).
His career covers State and National Roles with BT Funds Management, ANZ and MLC, incorporating AFSL Responsible Manager obligations and stewardship of HNW focussed, fee-based advice businesses. An experienced NFP and Family Foundation Director, he enjoys driving investment strategies that underpin philanthropic goals.
He holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), a Master of Business Administration and is a Graduate of the Australian institute of Company Directors.

Emma has 9 years of experience with Perpetual Private, recently joining the Investment Research Team in 2023 as the Investment Implementation Manager. She is responsible for the team’s operational, governance, reporting and implementation processes.
Before joining the Research team, Emma was a Senior Financial Accountant at Optiver where she was responsible for financial accounting and management reporting activities. Prior to this she held various roles across Perpetual, including 5 years as an Accountant within the Fordham Group.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Chartered Accountant.
Devendran joined Perpetual Private’s Investment Research team in 2023.
He is responsible for performance reporting, investment operations, governance, and investment implementation for Perpetual Private’s investment offering. Prior to joining Perpetual, Devendran worked at Macquarie Group where he held various roles within its Banking and Financial Services division.
Devendran holds a combined double degree of a Bachelor of Applied Finance with Bachelor of Commerce (Professional Accounting) from Macquarie University and is a CFA® charter holder.

Prior to that he worked at ANZ Banking Group as a Research Analyst responsible for fiduciary research.

Hugo joined Perpetual Private’s Investment Research Team in October 2023 as an Investment Associate. Additionally, he assists in communicating the Perpetual Private investment offer to advisers and intermediary sales on behalf of the Multi-Manager and Direct Equities teams.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Hugo spent four years working overseas in Vancouver, Canada for a wealth management firm as a Research Analyst. In this role, he primarily focused on the strategic and tactical asset allocation of the firm’s High Net Worth client base, across a broad range of asset classes and client profiles. Prior to that, he held roles in Sydney at BT Financial Group as a Customer Relations Consultant and TP ICAP as a Trainee Broker.
Hugo is a CFA charterholder with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Finance and Accounting, from the University of New South Wales.
James joined Perpetual in 2024 as a Senior Research Analyst within Perpetual Private’s Direct Equities team. He is responsible for research coverage of the Insurance sector as well as supporting the broader team in other industry research.
James joined Perpetual following five years at Selector Funds Management, a boutique high conviction Australian fund manager. At Selector, James was an Analyst and Dealer with broad coverage across the ASX.
James is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) with Bachelor of Laws with Honours.
