Information for all Perpetual products
Target Market Determination (TMD) is a document that outlines the class of consumers for which a product has been designed and is in place to assist distributors in understanding who the product is intended to be distributed to. The document forms part of the design and distribution arrangements for the product and outlines distribution conditions and restrictions as well as reporting requirements for distributors. This document is not a Product Disclosure Statement and does not provide a full summary of the product features or terms of the product. Importantly, it does not take into account any person’s individual objectives, financial situation or needs.
The requirement to have TMDs in place for all relevant products, was introduced as part of the Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO) which took effect on 5 October 2021.
